iPhone: Making the buttons larger
« on: March 28, 2012, 01:57:56 am »

I have the latest automator.app and run it both my iPhone and iPad.
On the iPhone, I use the app to arm my alarm system or to switch some lights on or off.
However, these buttons are pretty hard to press when on the car cradle.
eg: for the alarm widget, the four buttons are in a really tight square making it tough to hit the right one.

Is it possible to make these buttons larger? Or are they downloaded?

Thanks!

There is not a way to make the buttons larger at the moment, though using the phone in landscape may make it slightly easier if you car cradle allows that.

I'll keep this in mind for future versions.
Automator.app is dead.

Thanks for the reply.

Have you thought of creating specialized widgets such as the alarm console? I noticed that when you go and edit the settings you see the full set of buttons as exposed by the vera plugin. that would be nice to have as a top level widget.

Hello.

With iOS version 8, there are apparently Widgets.  Would there be any plans to take advantage of this with your app?

Having used widgets in relation to Android based apps, I've found them to be the most convenient means of triggering things.

Thanks!
