Migrating to VeraPlus and IP addresses.
« on: August 19, 2018, 05:02:49 pm »
I think I have everything migrated ok from my Vera 3 to Vera Plus.  My home network is fulling up though with my electronics and zwave items.

Is it possible to change the IP network of the Vera Plus and all of the items automatically or do I have to change the ip address of the Vera Plus and then exclude all the items and include them for their IP addresses to change?

Perhaps there is some confusion here. Z-Wave devices are not IP devices; they don't have IP addresses. Your Vera does, because it is an IP device and uses the network to connect to a local network,  IP devices on your LAN that you may wish to control from Vera, and the internet for remote access and firmware updates.

You can change the IP address of the Vera and it will have no effect on your Z-Wave devices.
