Scene to Run a URL
« on: August 30, 2018, 08:24:42 pm »
I'm a newbie to the Luup Coding.

I'm trying to setup a scene to run a URL every 30 minutes. I don't want any data read from the URL.

I tried including the following in the "Also, execute the following Luup code:" luup.wget(URL), but I get a general error message.

Any one have a way to run a URL periodically?

Code: [Select]
luup.inet.wget "http://blahblah.com"
I think this is the syntax you are looking for.
openLuup (79 devices, 141 scenes, 19 apps) master to VeraPlus (142 zwave nodes, 8 Zigbee nodes, 221 devices,  20 scenes , 2 apps) +  Hubitat (15 Zigbee nodes) + Home-Assistant (API Integrations). Bridged to Siri and Alexa. Homewave. VeraPlus ExtRooted and mios server independent.

Thank you. I needed the quotes instead of parenthesis.
