Truble pairing Motor controller
« on: May 04, 2012, 01:54:28 am »
I have been trying pair in my motor controllers for blinds and screen for home theatre. When I load it the Dashboard only recognises them as "Dimmable Lights"instead of motor controllers.Thaty means I have no way of  stopping the mechanisms wherever I want. Can someone Help?

@Strangely is correct, more info would help.

You can typically solve that problem by changing the Device file in Settings(wrench)-->Advanced(tab) from D_DimmableLight1.xml to D_WindowCovering1.xml.  Then close and SAVE and let Vera do its thing, the device should eventually change and give you up/down/stop/open/close buttons.
