Has anyone successfully gotten this to work on a VeraEdge with a FanLinc? My tries have failed with the LUUP engine restarting over and over again.

I noticed that too today. Just one more nail, huh?  :-\

A google search should turn up the sourceforge page. It has the latest code.

Airedale, did you get anywhere with VeraEdge and Altsteon?  I have been battling with the setup of a 2413U PLM and am to the point of trying to configure using Altsteon as nothing seems to work at this point.

No - never got anywhere with it on Vera Edge - there is another thread where they said they got it working with a WRT upgrade.

I don't have the edge, but I do have a Vera Lite running UI7 and I have it working.

I am having issues with the copy to vera step
6a) Copy the files inside the 'vera-binaries' directory to the '/overlay/sbin/ directory' using SCP

I don't have a /overlay/sbin directory.

I have a VeraEdge.  Not sure if this makes any difference

thanks

Bill

I might have some questions for you then. Just getting started and trying to load Altsteon on the Vera Edge. Already running into issues and I barely have the files on the device.

i wish i could.....maybe i should publish my dossier on altsteon on vera plus.   i have created and sourced some important info and added others works to make it work on on the latest device and beta.   As I keep saying in other threads, someone start a GETTING ALTSTEON up on ui7 plus and i'll hop in.

Bill, care to share what you did to get this working. I too have the exact same issue you state here on my VeraPlus UI7

Thanks for the reply, Ill keep that in mind when Im starting the seeds mid-february. About the variety, Im sure Id like some variety as time goes by aswell, but since this is my very first time Id like to kinda keep it "safe" with blends Im already familiar with. =

What about the LED Growlights I bought? Anyone got any experience with those?
