Fibaro and PIR for the shed
« on: March 22, 2012, 05:05:26 pm »
I'm not sure if I've got the best set up for my shed and outside lighting.

I'm using the pir sensor feed as the switch 1 input for my Fibaro powering another non-PIR floodlight.  this works well.  The Fibaro light goes on and off with the pir one and one of the 3 Vera devices turns it on and off too.

I've worked out one device turns the light one and off
one seems to invert the pir output (pir on, light off and vice versa!)
The other does nothing - useful!

My questions then:
I'll never want to invert the pir output, and that's just confusing things, can that option go away?

Is there a way to have the Fibaro light on a delay? (pir triggers it, then that goes out, but the Fibaro remains triggered and stays on for a further 2 mins)

Thank you for any help.

Still not really sure what I'm doing, but I added parameter 14 set to 1 on the device that turns the bulb on and off to make it bistable.
No change.

Is there a way to separate the pir on feed switch from the Fibaro load switch?
That way, I can make the pir trigger a scene of the Fibaro load bulb to activate, and hence stay on longer?

Thank you

I am having similar issue. I have 2 PIR lamps re-wired with Fibaro switches. I also have a door contact switch that will keep the lamps lit while my front door is open.
Despite having parameter 14 set, it occasionally inverts, so that one PIR goes out but switches the other lamp on. Driving me crazy because the behavior is inconsistent.
If I find a solution then I will let you know. I hope you will do likewise.

Hello.

Could you tell me.

How could you set parameter 14 to 1 on the Fibaro switches?
I have Vera 3, but I don`t know how to change  parameter 14 and others.

@Raffle,

Go to your fibaro on your Vera, select:
Device options
Add variable 14 and set value to 1

Hi thetwc.
I think I fixed the inverted behavior of my PIR lamps.

I set Parameter 13 to a value of 1 (in addition to also having Parameter 14 set to a value of 1).
