Z-wave command classes
« on: October 15, 2018, 10:08:54 am »
Any update to the supported command classes listed on this page: http://wiki.micasaverde.com/index.php/ZWave_Command_Classes ?
The last update to this page was two and a half years ago.
What can a developer do if the device he'd like to support has command class capabilities not listed here?

Yes, I've run into this question a few times myself.

@Sorin, I'd like to suggest that Luup add a way to register to receive events (i.e. a callback) from a device (or any device) when a message of a specified command class is received.

Probably this is also the problem for wider interoperability and wider device support.
Good firmware is more important than good karma. (and this costed me lots of Karma)
