Hi racarter,

I'm also looking to interact with my Texecom panel, and COM-IP module.

Please could I get a copy of your texecom module?

Thanks

Darren

Hi Scott

Yes, the plug-in supports COM IP network comms and PC COM serial/USB comms.  Texecom can supply details of the comms protocol if you sign a non-disclosure agreement, but since I've signed one I can't share my copy I'm afraid.

I'll PM you about sending the plug-in files.

Hi racarter, I don't have a MiCasaVerde but seeing your plugin might help me with a project of mine to hook it up to a Raspberry Pi. Any chance you could drop me a message, thanks.

Hi racarter,

Also very interested in your Texecom plugin as I've just installed a Premier Elite wireless panel. Any chance you could send me the plugin files? Thanks for the effort you have put into this.

J

Hi Racarter, you've already sent me the plugin but as yet i haven't bought the ipcoms module. Just wanted to know, what is possible with this pluggin?

Ideally I would like to be able to piggyback the Texecom pir's so that vera can use them as motion detection for lighting systems. Also, on say an alarm trigger, could it trigger lighting etc on vera?

Many thanks again for giving this plugin!

Chris

Hi Chris

The plug-in polls zones every 5 seconds and partitions every 10 seconds, so yes you can use the PIR and alarm statuses in Vera.

Thank you for replying. Polling at 5 seconds, is this sufficient for a lighting system or could there be a large delay between passing a Pir and it switching on the lights?
