Quick questions regarding Plugins ....
Can I update without loosing my plugins like ADD, LSI System Information or Garage Door Opener or would you guys recommend waiting for those plugins to be updated?

I updated to .408 and my plugins were retained (LSI, etc.) post upgrade.

Can this update be applied remotely?

Let me rephrase : I am unable to find a way to apply this update from a remote location...is there a way to do this that I am not seeing?

We do not recommend to upgrade the unit remotely because you might need to power cycle the unit, or unit might change her IP address and if anything goes wrong you might be unable to use your Vera until you go to the location of your unit.
But if there is no way for you to send someone to the location to do the upgrade and you want to upgrade your unit to the English version, you can paste the link below in the "URL for Vera custom firmware:" editbox from Setup/Firmware and click Download button. The upgrade should finish in 15 minutes.

If you have a Vera2 unit use this link: http://download.mios.com/brcm_betafirmware/wl500gP_Luup_ui5-1.5.408-en-mios.squashfs
If you have a Vera3 or Vera Lite use this link: http://download.mios.com/rt3662_betafirmware/rt3662_Luup_ui5-1.5.408-en-mios.squashfs

I see that #2346 was not addressed in this release.  Is it being worked on? (CA3000 message dropped)

My Vera Lite is still inserting itself as a DNS server on the network ("14. Prevent veralite from giving dhcp reponses to win7 clients by not sending the dns server").

You were running a beta that was not meant for public use. The changes were made to fix issues that broke scene controllers that work prior to that beta.

Was the fix for the scene number issue with the ZME (modified Duewi) scene controller also reverted in this public patch?  If so, I prefer to stay on the private beta... my Minimotes got their scenes messed up with that patch but there is a workaround.
HomeWave is available in the App Store!  Turn your iPhone/iPad into an easy-to-use remote control for Vera.

Not sure which private beta you are referring to and how you went about getting it. But MCV made changes in a previous beta to allow for other scene controllers to work. However, this broke the existing known working scene controllers and MCV reverted the changes back.

I reported the issue with the ZME scene controller, and at some point MCV support sent me a link to the private beta with a request to check if that fixed the issue.  This is firmware 1.5.401

Ahh yes, that firmware had the scene controller change which broke the other scene controllers e.g. leviton, etc. Aaron who is the lead developer @ MCV reverted the change back as it broke more than it solved.

Room assignment in Automation (Scenes) is still wonky...  I will create a scene assign it to a room them create another scene and the previous scene is in some random room and the original room is gone...  ???  Clears itself with a refresh...  MAC Chrome browser.

I have a question regarding the fix for:

40. Added 'Notification' tab and 'Battery level goes below' notification for the SceneController device.

When I configured a new notification for one of my locks, I notice that there are notifications triggers for 'low battery' and 'very low battery'.

Are there battery percentage values assigned for 'low battery' and 'very low battery'? Meaning, if the notification triggers for 'low battery', how much battery power percentage is left? I went hunting (release notes, doc5.mios.com) for this detail and couldn't find it.
