Nest plugin becoming very unreliable
« on: November 11, 2018, 06:29:07 pm »
Guy's I dont know if Google are the cause of this or not*, but lately the Nest plugin has become extreemly unrelaliable resulting in my scenes failing to work even when triggered by reactor. the plugin frequently shows "Plugin failed to start, action is disabled..." and either a luup reload or full Vera reboot is required to correct this.

It's gotten so bad I've had to shcedule an hourly Luup reload and the frustration levels are getting extreemly high!

*I'm running a Haas.io HAC in tandem with my Vera and while it is also having occasional issues with nest, they are nowhere near as cripling as on Vera.
HAC: Vera Plus & Hass.io | Voice Control: Amazon echo's | Z-Wave Devices: Aeotec Smart Switches etc & Garage Door Opener | Thermostats: nest's

Update: I think it was caused by Google taking their external API offline as both my systems stopped working completely for nearly an hour. Rebooting both eventually brought nest functionality back online.
