Dim with Timer
« on: February 15, 2019, 06:31:40 pm »
I'm looking to do the following and have little luck in finding any information.

When I say a keyword such as 'bedtime' I want the lights to dim to a set % and then every 15 min dim 1% more until after 1 hour they turn off.

I've found something similar along the lines of dim with steps http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php?topic=16084.0
but nothing that uses time as a trigger. Any help is appreciated.

Hello,

Please know that you may do a scene with a similar Luup code that is mentioned in that thread, adapted to your needs. You may re-name the scene as "bedtime" and rediscover on your Alexa the scenes. After that, you may use it with Alexa, the trigger for the scene being the manual one.

Thank you. :)
