Hi Intveltr,
this update is really great.
I played a lit bit and I set up my home with HomeWave. I post some screen of my iPhone.
Some personal wishes:
- the new update has a much better resolution also for an iPad. But for sure an iPad version is really wish. If the resolution is higher and the matrix will become more thin, maybe the it can be done a set up with a 3D diagram on background and the icon on top (see attachment). It is very used in the KNX world. Potentially can be done also with the actual version, but the matrix is not enough this with the iPhone app
- it easy nice the possibility to incorporate the webcam frame in the single screen (potentially this can become a dynamic background of the first point). Your app manage also very well the streaming and not only the jpeg preview. It will nice to have the possibility to choose if to have a streaming or preview in the main screen (it can become more heavy, but not an issue for fix iPad mounted on wall)
- add a auto-configuration feature. Homewave can create the same room as vera in the main screen. Then you have two possibilities: by room or by category. By room means that for each room Homewave adds automatically all the devices. By category means that for each category (lights, climate, sensors, etc) it will be created a dedicated screen. For both types the user should only choose the size form and design.
- have the possibility to read out the archive of image in vera. This will be become the first app that can do it. It will add a great functionality.
- add theme (I believe already foreseen)
- add a pre configured icon for meteo frame for the main screen with icon and GUI
- add a pre configured icon for sonos frame for the main screen with icon and GUI
- add the possibility to show webcam directly from url instead from Vera, in some case are faster and we higher speed
- add the possibility to have an icon for status off and an icon for status on
- add the possibility to have a web frame to add specific case/products
I stop here, otherwise you will kick out me :-)
Thank you for your effort
Regards,
Matteo
