NorthQ Power reader NQ-9021 not counting correctly
« on: February 15, 2014, 03:41:47 pm »
I am struggling getting my power reader working correctly. I have a mechanical meter and the plate on it says 450 ticks per kWh. I have attached my settings.

It was set to the correct kWh reading the 3rd of February, and it is now about 450kWh behind actual reading from the mechanical meter (43417 vs 44060).

Any ideas?

I found the setup for the NorthQ a bit tricky, so wrote a sort of 'how to' here http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,12569.msg95260.html#msg95260.

Maybe this helps?

Yes akbooers guide was superb and helped me set mine up, thank you.

@GR
Once your total power is set (param 9 - with a stupid name) change it to "monitor only". Else it seems right. Anoter issue is then wake up time and pool node inthe  settings tab.
