Using WinSCP to deploy the Sonos Plugin
« on: February 26, 2013, 09:27:53 pm »
Use WinSCP ( http://winscp.net/eng/index.php ) to upload certain files:

the MP3 file goes into /etc/cmh-ludl/
the PNG files go into /www/cmh/skins/default/icons/"

Can I get a little help here? How do you upload the specified files to these specific directories? Is there a simple step by step for this WinSCP program?

Do I select "SCP" ? In the host name, is that the IP address of my Veralite? I tried logging in using my IP address, vera username and password and I get access denied.....

Thanks!

That helped and I also found the username is "root" and the password can be found in the vera backup file :)

WinSCP is straight forward if you've used some type of FTP program in the past....
