Hi. There might be some differences from the UI5 to UI7 if I remeber correctly. I did manage to poll vera with the C# module, and it was quite fast, but I had some trouble putting the walues back in a simpl+ module, the only way I managed to do thath, was by polling the values from the C# module from simpl+. Then I think it's to much inforamtion beein processed for simple task. The correct way to og to make a faster polling module, is to mage a Crestron app for Vera, that pushes information to Crestron when changes is made, like in the Cisco video conferenses if you have used them.
I might thake a look at thath to the winter again. But at the time I only use Crestron to open and close my garage door, and use Vera for the rest.

Hey Urfalo,

I didnt realize you had replied to my last post. I just saw it now while i was on here looking at some other stuff.

I too was thinking that back in July, but i am more a hardware guy than a programmer, i have been learning Crestron recently though. I am not familiar with Lua and would not even know where to begin with making a plugin to push feedback to my Crestron processor.

I have discovered the Leviton VRC0P which is a zwave to RS232 unit that uses ASCII strings to control zwave nodes associated with it. I picked one up last week and am in the process of experimenting with it but am having trouble with some associations and having it play nice as a secondary controller with my Vera3.

Have you been able to make any progress with this project?

Hello again Urfalo,

I did some quick looking around with the existing apps available to see if there was something to build off of to push feedback to Crestron. I came across a few data logging apps that can report and graph changes of devices on the vera unit.

I'm wondering if any of these would be helpful or if their reports would be easier to parse than the XML on the Crestron side of things because you can pick the devices they report the data for.

Here are a few i found:

If you have some time to start this project back up, that would be awesome!

Also, if you need any help with anything or help with testing and troubleshooting i'm more than happy to help where and if i can.

Thanks in advance!

Anybody is using "Prometheus Metrics Exporter" with the latest UI7 firmware? It seems something got broken and original author is no longer interested in the project. I'd like to get it working... Any help would be appreciated!
Veras (1, 2, 3, Lite, Plus), lots of different Z-Wave modules, Luup plugins and theater/security integration.
