Dear All! I just upgrade my Verlite to Vera Plus and I got the problem getting Belkin Wemo plugin to work. I got an error message " Startup Lua Failed". I've tried all package files in this thread but still not working. Anyone have any suggestion? I don't have this problem with my Veralite. thanks
Maybe you've tried this, but I followed the steps in this link and it's worked perfect ever since. I'm not sure it is the same files.

Hi, thanks a lot for the plugin. It works great with UI7 after following proper steps. In have just few questions regarding stays sync between such itself and Vera controller.
If I manually turn the switch ON, is it supposed to update the status on UI7 dashboard? Because mine doesn't. Once I manually switched on the switch, I cannot use the switch control from dashboard. I have to use the iOS app or manually switch it OFF. Is something wrong with my setup?
My WeMo switch is connected to wifi router (E3000 Linksys), has static IP associated. Vera is connected via Ethernet cable to router.

Let me know if you wish to know anymore details.

Thanks!

Does the belkin wemo app integrate with Croc-pot slow cooker with wemo functionality?

I have gotten the plugin working and I am able to add my Wemo devices manually.  However when the devices are switched on/off manually or through the iOS app, the Vera device does not reflect the changed state.  The Vera device is able to send commands but not able to receive information.  I do have UPnP Event proxy running (before I installed the Belkin plugin) and have changed the uuid in Advanced as was indicated but still no luck.  Any advice?

I too am seeing this issue. It appears as if the wemo throws an unexpected state error in this condition.  If you go into the device and manually change its status to match what state the device is then it will toggle and be back in sync.  I was hoping that futzle could respond to this chain as they are the author of both plugins.  I haven't gotten far enough in my investigation to find out if the device broadcasts its state change or if it has to be polled with a request.

Hi people,

There isn't much I can add. I haven't owned any WeMo equipment for years now and I haven't upgraded my Vera from an early version of UI7. It is possible that some work MCV did on the firewall has prevented the UPnP Proxy from receiving updates when a device changes state. It's also possible that Belkin has changed its UPnP implementation.

WeMo and Vera are both moving targets from a development perspective. Whoever picks up development of this plugin is going to have a fun* time playing whack-a-mole.

Unfortunately, I'm in way over my head...
I've started getting an error on the WeMo page in AltUI:

Error in WeMo.configuration(): TypeError: jsonp.get_room_by_id is not a function

This only happens when I give an assigned device a room since that's the only time the function is called.
I looked around and found a page that states get_room_by_id has been replaced by getRoomObject but it can't seen to find that either.
Don't know how long this has been hapenning but this may be the first time I've ever moved a WeMo device to a room.   :-\

I don't know anything about jsonp or how/where it is defined so I could really use some help.

TIA
