Cooper RF9534-N RF Dimmer Lighting Modules $29.00
« on: June 01, 2013, 11:25:39 am »
I saw this, seems a bit too good to be true.  So I went ahead and ordered 10  ;D

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Cooper-RF9534-N-RF-Z-Wave-Smart-Dimmer-Master-/230990881865?pt=Home_Automation_Modules&hash=item35c8212449

I am just getting started with my system, just placed an order for a Vera3 and hope to begin replacing out my aging X-10 system.  We recently moved into a smaller house, which is a good thing for me, less switches and outlets to convert over!

From what I read, these do okay at dimming LED modules, which we have throughout most of the house.

Just figured I would pass this deal along to anyone else looking to pickup these switches, and start my first actual post on the forums off with a deal  ;D

Thanks for all of the help, there is a wealth of information on these forums!

Thanks for posting!  In for 5.

I'm moving into a new (to me) house and have been struggling with affordable dimmers for LEDs/CFLs.

Great to find these with instant status instead of going with the Evolve switches for $20 more!

Also, these are listed as "used" on ebay, so hopefully condition is ok

These are for incandescent lights based on Cooper's website. But I do like the look of these, if I didn't already have all the lights in my house running on the Intermatic CA600's I would buy 20 of these.
Vera Lite (1), Trane Thermostat (1), Yale Deadbolt (1), Foscam FI9821w (4), GE 45602 (1), GE 45603 (2), Intermatic CA600(11)/CA3000(6)/CA5100(4)/CA3500(3), Aeon Labs MicroSmartSwitch (1), Aeon Door/Window Sensors (3), EnvisaLink 3 on DSC 1616 (1), OpenSprinklerPi

The list it for incadescent but they should work ok for LEDs.

Thanks for posting this, i ordered four of these "Cooper RF9542-Z Z-Wave Accessory Dimmer"
Hope they work fine as one way dimmers, and are not auxiliary switches for the 3 way dimmer. :D

Yeah that's an auxiliary switch  :(  They pair with the 9534-N but don't carry a load themselves.

Really? :( Homeseer website says they can be used as a standalone dimmer... :(

RF transmitter only, it does not control a load
Use it as a companion switch for N-Way circuits
Simply associate this switch with the switch controlling the actual load
Use this switch when you need dimming capability

Requirements
Note that this is an RF accessory switch and it needs to be associated with the primary switch controlling the load. This is done with either the HomeSeer software or a Cooper remote control.

Sorry buddy.  Looks like you missed out too; the original item shows 0 available, 104 sold.

Well, now I am ticked.

I emailed the seller today to find out the status of shipping on my item (I ordered 10 and paid instantly) and I get the response that they never shipped, and they are now out of them.

So if anyone ordered from the seller, and has decided they no longer want them...I'm in the market.  ::)

And @Exorcist, thanks I did actually get three accessory switches from the seller after you cancelled.  Of course, now I don't have master switches to go with them.
