for official 2.41

you can wait until the new version I published gets approved
or
you can open this url in your browser,  http://<youripaddr>:3480/data_request?id=action&serviceId=urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:HomeAutomationGateway1&action=CreatePlugin&PluginNum=4686&Version=32912 and let it do its work , ignore all error messages displayed, let the VERA reload once or twice and check that you are running v 2.41 of the plugin

It seems like my iphone locator plugin stopped working the past couple weeks.. in Vera up top i now see "apple device map is empty" and "icloud refused access, check credentials?"

i started trying to fix it.. retyping my password under settings, trying both my real icloud password and an app generated password, deleting the configured device and trying to re-add it. nothing seems to work..

It doesn't seem to like my icloud password which i know is correct.. nor does it seem to like an app specific generated password. i always get icloud refused access, check credentials.

very strange.. any ideas? here is some log output with debug enabled..

Ive been having this problem for a few days now.. At first I thought it might be that I had enabled two step verification on my iCloud. but that is disabled now and I still have the same problem. It seems to have aligned with the new firmware update for my veralite, but cant 100% hang my hat on that..

Hi there, I'm encountering the same issue. I just tried to use the URL for installing the update however get the following error and nothing appears to happen. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 2 at column 50: xmlns:u: 'Unknown Service' is not a valid URI
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

The URL I used...

http://192.168.5.29:3480/data_request?id=action&serviceId=urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:HomeAutomationGateway1&action=CreatePlugin&PluginNum=4686&Version=32912

error is normal, ignore. it is not a "normal" page to be used by VERA so it is not meant to give a nice UI. it is just convenient to install a particular version of an APP from the MCV store. you should have 2.41 installed properly now

Thanx - that resolved my problem.

Perhaps I have to set the plugin to not autoupdate?

i believe it is preferable to have it,  the auto update will give you the next update with the fix ( when mcv approves the release ), in the mean time it should keep your current patched version

Hi
I seem to be having a problem since the auto update to 2.41.  I had previously had the bad credentials problem many had mentioned previously and read through these posts and found the link to update manually and everything was working fine until yesterday it seems. My phone was giving the following error since saturday "forceRefresh error check logs /600sec", however my mothers was updating properly. Now as of this morning both are giving the same error yet when I check the log tab it doesn't give me any error information.  Does anyone have an idea what my issue could be or perhaps suggest how I could try solving it? Many thanks in advance

** Update - my bad, as soon as I had posted I noticed a separate thread on the issue resolving the problem **

yes v2.42 fixes this. was a change in apple iCloud which exposed a bug in the json module I was using. changed as part of 2.42 so now it is back normal. should be approved by MCV on the store in a few days
