AD2USB Pin and trigger

Hello,

I got a vista 20 and Vera3 with the AD2USB, I programmed few scenes witch use a trigger, I found recently when, when the trigger did not get is signal, I had to put back the PIN and hit store. right after this everything trigger properly. I think this is happening when I unplug the AD2USB from the Vera, but i'm sure about the reason...

Did i miss something in the setup, can I script something to put the pin automatically?

There was a post a while back where someone has a luup code that runs at start up that stores the code, or what I do is use the advanced tab, detailed alarm state i think its called and enter my pin in the box.

I followed the docs in the thread I opted above....PIN will not be loaded after restart.


I put this here because this post has over 150 views.  So it looks like a bunch of us want to have this happen on our systems.  But the discussion is in the link above... I have not heard back from those who got it working.  They may be long gone.

I've posted for help on this too.  I have tried the code in the forum to no avail.  My system is set up for 2 partitions, I wonder if that has anything to do with my issue.

well.. here is What DOES work.. (just tried this)

Create a scene called: store PIN

click on advanced
pick the device:
  Ademeco Vista Alarm Panel,  click ADD

Select Store PIN code and enter your PIN


I can verify that after reboot and you manually run this scene the PIN IS stored and available

I am trying to get this scene to run upon vera reboot and asked for help in another thread.

that just deals with running a scene on vera boot up.  If that works (so far no) I will post a link to that solution.

In the meantime, i guess you could add this code to a scene as long as it runs first .. so when you try to arm via a scene .. you can make sure the PIN is stored...
