"Connection down" after installing Sonos plugin?

This has been working great until yesterday, where I'm now getting the "connection down" message.  I added the Sonia plugin yesterday and wonder if that could have anything to do with it?

I also just remembered that I replaced the backup battery... could that be it?

have you checked the serial port configuration? that can be lost if the vera boots up without seeing the ad2usb.

that worked.  thanks.  but now i'm seeing it again, after installing a camera (VIstaCam) and the Denon plugin.  What's weird is that control still works... I can turn the alarm on/off from MiOS, etc.  but it says "connection down".  the message always goes away if I reload.  So I'm assuming it's intermittent. 

Could it be some order of apps being loaded that I can change/move?  I'm a newbie.
