I have been reading through other post to the different apps asking for voice control to be added and the responses are either that Siri is the gold standard, which in my mind means they want to just utilize Apples VR API and services and also Google Voice API for recognition.  What I am doing it localizing the code to build the dictionary based on your components you have built and keep all Voice Recognition local to the device.

Are you using the OpenEars API?

I am currently working with multiple different API's to see which ones provide the highest accuracy.
I am the developer of iViri.  iViri is available in Apple Store.  Check out its Voice Control and Geofence integration, which causes less battery drain than the other options for locating an iphone.

Can I get a list of devices from everyone willing to test?  iPhone 4/4s/5/5s?

Also have a few different iPads too if you want feedback from those too. :P

Initial release will be on iPhone only and I should have support for 4/4s/5/5s.  The voice control is done but I needed to put together all of the view controllers to let everyone configure their specific connection setup, also I wanted to add control like the rest of the apps have so that is what is being worked on now.

In case you still need testers, i would be happy to test/help. I could test on jailbroken iphone 4 and 4s, the 4 on ios5, the 4s on ios 7.0.4

I'll be happy to test it for you. I have the same problem with all the current iOS apps. I have an iPhone 5S 7.0.4

Hi, I'm in the progress of testing all iOS apps I can get my hands on before I decide which one to buy/select. My primary, daily use, iPhone is a 5 but there are also two 4's in the home and an iPad one and two. Also a mix of iOS 6 and 7.

So before I get it out for testing I am working with my Artist to get the images and what not made for it so it is very eye appealing.  I would suspect testing availability sometime in Feb. and then a release to the apple store some time in March.

I am wondering if anyone finds it a problem if we only support iOS 7 and above?  Please respond and let me know if anyone thinks that will be a problem.  Also I will be reaching out soon on this forum to get people to send me their UDID of their device so I can put together an ad-hoc provisioning profile for people to test, but I am not at that stage just yet.  Also if anyone is interested in what it will look like I could post some pictures of what I have so far if people are not willing to wait a month or so.

iOS 7 only is no issue for me. I expect there are many that haven't updated due to battery life issues and are waiting for 7.1.
