Tablets with wireless charging
« on: December 04, 2014, 10:41:08 am »
I was wondering if anyone had a list or a link to one of tablets that support Qi charging.
I want to wall mount some tablets for controllers and want to see what tablets would be the best options.

Thanks!

I've been looking for a similar list. I have two Nexus 7 tablets, one mounted to the wall in the Living Room near the front entry and another mounted at the end of the cabinets in the Kitchen. The Living room tablet is currently configured for Qi charging using a standard charging puck glued to the back of a triple gang blank wallplate (

I have ordered stripped down Qi parts to mound under the tablet on the kitchen cabinets (http://www.ebay.com/itm/301250766769?_trksid=p2059210.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT). The charging coil will be attached to the cabinet with rubber cement, the wires pass through a small home to the electronics mounted inside the cabinet. A samll access hole in the cabinet bottom will provide access for the USB cable to power the charger.

In each case the tablet is mounted with 3M command Strips to allow easy removal for access.
