I'll make the exception to update this thread with a bit of an update to mention a delay in the updates planned for February.
For the last 2.5 weeks I've been travelling around Russia, Mongolia, and China, which has mostly been out of internet accessibility. The 8.8 release should have been released at the start of this time to fix the main preset-mode button crash, as well as bring in new beta functionality for the today widget.
That didn't go as planned as Apple rejected the update as they had an issue with one of the icons. This, as well as a backlog of questions I'll be sorting through, will be the top priority now - we'll be back on top of things shortly. The current timeline for Apple approvals is currently around 9 days (painfully), meaning barring any more "issues" by Apple, an 8.8 release should be expected sometime around 7th/8th.
Apologies if this has put anyone out.
