iViri v1.2 Release
« on: March 28, 2014, 10:32:31 am »
I need BETA testers who have more than 1 VERA system tied to their username.  Please send me an email at support@instruodev.com if you would like to do some initial testing for me.
I am the developer of iViri.  iViri is available in Apple Store.  Check out its Voice Control and Geofence integration, which causes less battery drain than the other options for locating an iphone.

Can we test on iPhone 4s. I don't have any of the above requirements.

Yes, send me an email at support@instruodev.com with your UDID if you were not part of the original BETA testers.  I want to know that the issues are resolved on iphone 4s.

Just jumped on the bandwagon and upgraded to UI6. I was not a original beta tester for your app, but if you want me to test iViri on my system let me know! I have been using VeraMate earlier, but am interested in skipping my iPhoneLocator app.

Email me at support@instruodev.com.  I have some stuff that I need to have you run for commands against your vera before I can get the app portion coded, once done it will be in the app fairly quickly and then I will get your UDID and get you added to the BETA list to start testing out the apps functions.

Sorry! :S UI6 turned out to be a much more unstable system then I had hoped. Had to format my Vera and reinstall everything. I am now back to good old UI5 again...

No worries, same thing I did when I was developing iViri.  I thought to myself hey look I can get UI 6 and start testing against it, then noticed I was very unhappy with its stability so I downgraded and started over.

Hello,

I installed the app today, and it launched only once... I found my rooms, and the the app said 'Checking job status'... and crashed.

Now it does not launch anymore (in fact it launches, and then exits - but the app is running background and still stuck on the 'checking job status' screen)...

I have an iPhone 4 and iOS 7.1.

What's the next step ?

Is this v1.2?  Or did you download from the apple store today and it isn't working?

In fact I don't know which version it is as I cannot open it anymore...
I downloaded it today, so it seems to be 1.1 from what I can read on Apple Store.

Under General Settings on the iOS if you scroll down to iViri, do you have Mios User/Password and Vera IP address populated?

Yes everything is set. It worked for a few seconds with those parameters...

V1.2 is submitted to apple.  If you don't want to wait we can get you on a beta version to test out.  I think the changes in v1.2 will resolve your issues.
