Mios UI6 / UI7 remote access changes
« on: July 04, 2014, 08:04:21 am »
It appears with the recent server changes that Mios (MCV) has done they changed the relay servers used for UI6 / UI7 remove access. The current ones of relay11.mios.com and relay12.mios.com do not work any more. I had a few users report that they are now:

vera-us-oem-relay11.mios.com
vera-us-oem-relay12.mios.com

Is this correct? What other changes were made with out any develops knowing?

Has anyone been able to fix remote UI6 access?

I get responses (and keys) from both the old and the new URLs for the autha and authd servers.  Note that I pick up the addresses for the other servers from the messages returned by autha and authd.

Old urls (us-authx.mios.com)
- Login on autha: returns identity tokens  and addresses of event and account servers
- Discovery on authd: returns devices, and account/device servers to use
- Get device info from device server: responds with device info and relay server
- Get session token from relay server: responds with "invalid signature"

New urls (vera-us-oem-authx.com)
- Login on autha: returns identity tokens  and addresses of event and account servers
- Discovery on authd: returns devices, and account/device servers to use
- Get device info from device server: response is "ERROR:Permission 14 denied"

UI6 remote access was working fine in my app before this change, now I can no longer get it to work.

HomeWave is available in the App Store!  Turn your iPhone/iPad into an easy-to-use remote control for Vera.

Never mind, I found it :)  I made the calls to the device server without sending the identity tokens in the header, which worked fine before.

I believe vera-us-oem-auth[ad].mios.com are load balance / fail over URLs which should work fine. I asked confirmation on this via email.
