Problem with Secure SWM301
« on: July 30, 2014, 09:16:51 am »
Hi,
I bought Secure SWM 301, after inclusion into z-wave network I see this device as like "light control" not as like water meter. Does someone help me? Try someone use this meter with vera light, I found some article http://www.smartofthehome.com/2014/02/secure-swm301/ but is not good reading :)

Thanks for help!

Hi jakub023, do you find a solution? I think, you have to install Mios update utility in apps, and reconfigure the device. My  problem is that i can't see water consumption in litres, i see only 0.

Has anyone successfully managed to get the SWM301 Water Meter Reader working with a Vera unit?

I have  the same problem.
I included the swm301 in veralite. It appears like a sensor with level 0 but is not changing with water consumption.
If you find a solution, I'm interested. I will continue to test things

After install all updates I see "Level: 0" and correct device name space. In the case of water flowing through the sensor does not occur any change... Status unchanged "Level: 0"
My firmware version: 1.6.641

I think SWM is not too compatible with Vera..  >:(

Did anyone find the manufacturer's web site?
