As of Sept 2014, which GCal switch should I use
« on: September 20, 2014, 10:52:53 am »
I've been off the forums for a while. Just noticed the notes about how my old GCal switch will stop working in November.

If I'm ready to start migrating, should I go directly to GCal3 or go with II and wait for the kinks to be worked out with 3?

Stuart - thanks for providing a solid GCal replacement!

I'd go straight to GCal3.  It has some additional functionality over GCal_II.   Most of the  'kinks' have been adding debug code to help figure out what went wrong with the setting up of a user's google account (or at least identifying that was the case).  At this stage I'd rate it at least as robust as the final version of GCal_II, so no advantage in going via the intermediate step.
