Weather forecast feature request
« on: September 29, 2014, 06:02:06 am »
I wonder if there are any plans to implement native weather forecast support in Imperihome? Any wall display worth the name should have a pretty weather forecast feature (also, it would be good for the WAF here). ;) Options to show the forecast for different amount of time would be appreciated, i.e. current condition, current + 24h, current + 36h, current + 7 days etc.

I know a possible workaround would be to use a weather "sticker" from for example Wunderground or Accuweather (see links below), but a fully integrated weather feature in Imperhome would of course be the best, both for smart functionality and apperance. It could be combined with showing the current time.

I agree. It's been asked a lot but no confirmed response from imperihome.

Ok, hopefully they hear us then.

Looking at the activity at this part of the forum my feeling is that Imperihome is not very active here. Maybe it's better to contact them directly with any requests/ideas?

@tomtcom, did you get this working?

LOL, forgot about this. Load up a large web page widget and see what you get with this: http://icons.wunderground.com/data/640x480.

I did find that the html file does update and work just fine but ultimately without getting something to fine tune to the widgets Imperihome can load it would be best to have a native design.
