PSP01 3in1 Motion detector problem with UI7
« on: December 02, 2014, 02:52:35 am »
Hello,

I run a Philio PSP01 3in1 sensor on my Vera3 box. Everything was running smooth with UI6. But after the update to UI7 I have the following problem.

When motion is detected, Vera shows the motion part of the sensor as red as expected. The re-detect parameter is set to 3 which means 24 seconds. However, when there is no motion anymore (after re-detect time) Vera keeps showing the icon as red (i.e. still motion detected). Finally, after more than 30 Minutes (don't know the exact time) the icon goes back to normal (i.e. Vera shows no motion).

Does anybody else have this problem and can help?

Thanks very much in advance,
Michael

I am also experiencing the same problem with the PSP01 on UI7.

I also have this problem with my PSP01 and vera lite, using latest vera firmware. Anyone found a solution?

Hi all,

meanwhile I found a workaround for the problem (described in this post: http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,29583.0.html)

I created a scene which runs whenever the motion detector is tripped. In this scene I added the following luup code to execute (change the 34 with your device id).

function resettrip()
  luup.variable_set("urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:SecuritySensor1", "Tripped", "0", 34)
end

luup.call_timer("resettrip", 1, "20", "", "")

This will "untrip" the sensor after 20 seconds.

Regards,
Michael

Noob here, quick question... I'm having similar issues. Where do you insert the code in UI7? I have 2 evolving motion sensors. One of them trips as soon as away mode is selected.

Hi homeuser,

when you edit a scene you find a section "Also, execute the following Luup code:". When you click there, a editor is opened where you put in the code.
