Now, in beta on the apps store.

Installation from the Apps Store:
http://<your_vera_ip>:3480/data_request?id=action&serviceId=urn:micasaverde-com:serviceId:HomeAutomationGateway1&action=CreatePlugin&PluginNum=8246&Version=26606

NOTE: it will automate the creation of the ALTUI device so you may want to remove the ALTUI device from your vera if you proceeded with a manual installation before to avoid having 2 devices in paralele.
  • Once installed, and VERA luup reloaded, and browser cache refreshed, you should be able to go into the device SETTINGS and press the button "Open Window". that is the main URL for ALTUI, you can bookmark it.
  • in the menu "More/ Remote access login", this opens the remote access window login page, you can also bookmark this one for use when you are not at home.

Version on store is not yet approved. I will let the forum knows.
I continue the work anyhow, and I can now talk about rev384 mostly dedicated to improving user interface for custom page editor.

Revision 385

  • Multi selection of controls on the custom pages by CTRL+click or lasso rubber box. edition and move of control is via drag and drop and it does work also with touchscreen like ipad.
  • toolbar tools to align control ( left center right top bottom ... )
  • Resizable handle for images control
screen shot attached.

Everything is working great. I must say this is very nice. Great job on your work amg0!

Question about "in the menu "More/ Remote access login", this opens the remote access window login page, you can also bookmark this one for use when you are not at home."

It tells me my login/ password is incorrect. I am using my Vera account credentials. Do I need to create a new login somewhere?

It is ui7 credentials only (mms login), ui5 is different procedure and I have not done it yet.

For UI5 remote access, you can try this very unfriendly procedure for now:
1- open http://sta1.mios.com/locator_json.php?username=uuuuuu
where uuuuuuu is your user account name

2-you will get a result like this
Code: [Select]
{"units":[{"serialNumber":"nnnnnnnnn","FirmwareVersion":"1.5.622","name":"Vera Lite","ipAddress":"192.168.1.5","users":["uuuuuuu"],"active_server":"fwd7.mios.com","forwardServers":[{"hostName":"fwd7.mios.com","primary":true},{"hostName":"fwd6.mios.com","primary":false}]}]}
3 open this url where :
sssssssss is the active server above ( given by previous step )
uuuuuuuu is your UI5 account
pppppppp is your password
nnnnnnnn is your unit serial number ( given by previous step )
https://sssssssssss/uuuuuuuu/pppppppppp/nnnnnn/data_request?id=lr_ALTUI_Handler&command=home#

and it should work. you can bookmark that url it should not change

Hello all, ALTUI plugin has been approved, it is now available as a plugin in the store/ http://apps.mios.com/plugin.php?id=8246

I am in the process of migrating the file to a new folder in the code.mios.com repository so I will update this thread as soon as possible , but for now people can install it from the store.
when you install the plugin from the store, it will create the device automatically so you do not have to do it

NOTE 1:
I RECOMMEND YOU DELETE THE DEVICE before installing from the store. otherwise you may end up with 2 devices and I do not support such configuratoin, only one ALTUI device plugin is needed.

The Store version is also a one week old version so it does not contain the latest news, but I will soon update it with a new version , or people can use the code.mios.com one ( once I publish the new url ).

NOTE 2:
the js script file are a bit large, I plan in final version to minify them but for now, it would make the debug impossible. it means that if your VERA is really loaded you may have some upgrade problem with space on the storage. in that case, before you upgrade a firmware, feel free to delete altUI device & files, do your upgrade, then re-install from the store.

have fun

I do not have icons for PLEG or Homewave. How can I fix these icons? Is there a way to save my config settings? I want to uncheck invisible, but AtlUI keeps defaulting to show when I start it.

Thanks

Great news that it has been approved by the app store !

Erly in the tread I understood that you had manedged to support thermostats.
Just to make sure. Is it possible to control thermostat setpoint e.g. Danfoss ?
