Has anyone integrated to Honeywell Vista/Lynx panels?
« on: January 29, 2015, 09:22:48 pm »
Hey Guys, I'm new here, I install and own a small alarm company, I'm wondering if anyone has been able to integrate these Honeywell alarm panels with the Vera Lite or Vera3. I don't have any experience with any Vera products but want to get in to it. I like the idea to have no monthly fees, although they're cheap for me because I provide Total Connect services, I want to know if I can monitor the alarm system without total connect. Thanks

Vista panels are compatible..

Vista Alarm Panel with EVL3 interface -> http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,27602.0.html
Vista Alarm Panel with VAM interface -> http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,28216.0.html
Vista Alarm Panel with AD2USB -> http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/board,46.0.html
Vista Alarm Panel with RS232 -> http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,6626.msg41344.html#msg41344
Vista Alarm Panel with 4232CBM -> no support (device requires special activation sequence from DCE before being usable... Honeywell has only released documentation to the huge players - Control4, etc)

Lynx is not compatible... No ECP interface or web interface (WiFi add-on has an encrypted API interface that Honeywell will not release documentation for)
