GE/Jasco 45631 / ZW5301 Zwave Group and Scene Controller UI 7
« on: February 14, 2015, 03:26:52 pm »
Has anyone been able to get this device to work with UI 7.
I'm able to add the device and assign a scene to a button in the UI but it doesn't work.  -- Meaning when I push the button on the device nothing happens!!!

Anyone have any luck?  It seems like people stopped discussing these devices a few years ago even though they are still available for purchase at Amazon.

Thanks!!!

I've got the same issue.  Been working with it for months to no avail.  Tech support at Jasco was of no help either.
Does anyone know how to check that all Vera network info is truly copied to the controller?

I'm having similar problems. I had it working in UI5 (albeit with an unacceptable delay for "on" functions but "off" was immediate).

I'm pretty sure the problem is that you have to "reinclude" it once you create the scenes for it, but I have no idea how to do this in UI7.  if you just go through the include routine again, UI7 recognizes it as an already added controller and doesn't do anything.

edit: there is a fix here: http://forum.micasaverde.com/index.php/topic,32933.msg240773.html#msg240773

it works great. basically you just ignore UI7's scene setup and network your buttons/switches/scenes through the controller itself (which is still a secondary controller on the network).
