Fibaro Universal dimmer & lamp setup
« on: March 28, 2015, 12:56:49 pm »
Hi guys,

new to all this and looking to get set up with a simple dimmer/lamp setup. Well I thought it would be simple but having no luck! Its a 2 wire cable, brown & blue (live & neutral). I decided the simplest way would be to cut the power cord and install the dimmer module between mains and bulb. The switch is on teh neck of teh lamp just under the bulb so I realise teh switch will no longer work but i can live with that. Any way, just trying to work out the correct wiring setup... I have Brown Live into the L terminal, Blue neutral into the N terminal, a small jumper between N&O and S1 going to Live brown at the bulb side and Sx going to Neutral blue also at buld side. Refuses to work!

What am I doing wrong? Its melting my head!!

Thanks in advance

Connect Mains-L with Terminal-L, Mains-N with Terminal-N plus one wire of the lamp and lastly connect Terminal-O with the second wire (Com) of the lamp.
