Hi.  I'm new here, too.  I have Zipato RGBW2 bulbs with UI7(?)...latest Vera firmware.  I also would like to expand beyond basic color changes in the Color Wheel.  Any and all assistance is appreciated.  Likewise, I will post my experiences here.

First one, which is how I found this thread, is that one bulb causes "Please wait! Getting secure classes" to be displayed.  Only one bulb.  It also reports lost connection from time to time, even though it still works flawlessly.  Three others do not have the issues.  For me, at least, light bulbs are not security devices.  So, I need to get the bulb to NOT report on security.

Thank you in advance to all!

So I uploaded the LUUP files to update from 1.34 to 1.41/1.42 after uploading them, the version still shows 1.34.  Am I missing something?

Steps:
Develop Apps
Luup Files
(Copy and pasted the files in the LUUP folder I downloaded from GITHUB)

Hi All,

I will be grateful for information how to download latest version of the controller and info if it is supporting multiple devices or only one at a time?

>I've begun a new version of the RGB Controller plugin, with a main controller, to spare resources and control group of controllers.

Vosmont, I read the RFP1000 plugin would support a UI7 system. Did you also test on a VeraPLUS device ?
I'm looking to either purchase this RFP1000 thing or the good old RFXCOMM433.
I have some Visonic Tower-sensors on 433Mhz that I want to put to use, since my Visonic PRO Panel is 866Mhz, I cannot directly interface with that...

Good work!

Can I set the color without turning on the light?

I would like the light to be activated by a motion sensor. I would like to set the color based on time of day. For example if the motion sensor is tripped during the day it would turn the light on at a preset color of 100% cool white. If it is tripped at night it would turn the light on at 50% Red.

Got it:

Code: [Select]
luup.variable_set("urn:upnp-org:serviceId:RGBController1","Color" , "#0000FF0000",<ID>)

Trying to use this plugin with an Aeotec LED strip. On the color wheel tab, all the color sliders work (turn on the strip with that color) except red. I've tried setting the device type to "Aeotec RGBW Bulb" and "Generic Z-Wave color device" with the same results. Is the problem with the plugin, or is it possible I have a defective LED strip, where the red doesn't work?

Try to switch a wire.  See if you can light it.

OK, nevermind. Seems to have been a loose connection. The connection between the LED strip and the controller is not snug, that seems like a quality problem.

So it works, but is a bit laggy.

I have also had the same 'loose fit' problem, there doesn't seem to be any sort of latch you just push it in and hope it stays there. Major oversight considering the price.
