Can't connect after upgrading to UI7

Hi,

I upgraded my working UI5 system to UI7 (to make a door lock work, which now works).

However when I try and add the UI7 device to imperihome I now get "Could not authenticate...".  The user credientials are correct but I can't add the device.  I can add it manually via IP, but this won't be usable from away from home.

If the vera were able to require a username/password I could use IP forwarding on my router, but it appears to accept any connection to the vera without authentication, so thats also not an option.

anyone know how to fix this?

Did you create a new user ID on the UI7 servers at home.getvera.com and add your Vera to that account? As the Ui5 and UI6/Ui7 user credential databases are different instances.

Also make sure for UI6/Ui7 to use a password with a special character in it. Eg one of ! @ # $ % ^ & *. As this is how home.getvera.com determines if you are using Ui5 or UI6/Ui7 if you have a UI5 account already.
