@computerjohn, its not that they couldn't throw something together and do a reasonable job I expect! The tricky part is making it compatible with the iOS version not only from a look and feel standpoint, but also from a compatibility standpoint with the existing blaster, the upcoming pro, but also with the setup files and also the upcoming SQ designer / Adobe Air platform.
Imagine doing the above with a limited team, and then throw into the mix making it work with Mios, testing with multiple iOS version/hardware, whilst also actively coding the iPad app, SQ designer and working on your next gen hardware simultaneously!
None of this is easy and if you saw the amount of work that goes into all of this from the development team, and also a small army of beta testers finding bugs, you wouldn't be so hard on them.
I'm sure they'll reward you with you patience!
