iPhone + iPad--one license?
« on: May 01, 2010, 10:36:29 am »
This has probably been covered elsewhere, but not in this section of the forum, which is probably where it should be.  My sweetie and I both have the SQ Connect app on our iPhones--and both did the in-app upgrade, so we have paid for two upgraded copies.

Her 3G-enabled iPad was delivered yesterday.  I would expect that she would be able to install the upgraded SQ Connect without incurring another license charge.  Everything else you buy through the App Store allows this, because the license is associated with your iTunes account.  But SQ Connect has done something different here.

1) can she install the in-app upgrade without incurring another $50 hit?  If not, that sucks.
2) if she can, what's the procedure (and why doesn't it show up in the SQ Connect FAQ)?

Never mind--it came up as "restore" when she tried it.  So we're good.

Yes, two iPads and two iPhones here - all with a single SQ Remote license. It's really a great app.
