okay to run Scene #0?
« on: January 28, 2016, 02:38:17 am »
I have a loop code that executes various scenes.  However, sometimes my code needs to run a scene that does *nothing*.  Is it safe to run scene #0?  It seems to do nothing when I run it.

Can't you just 'return false' or execute no scene at all? I do not know about scene #0.

Attempting to run a scene that does not exist will cause an error.

Will that error cause a negative effect? Probably not, but you would want to verify that with your environment.

I agree with Pietor - only schedule a scene if the scene actually exists. If you must run a scene, create one that does nothing.

Pietor and aa6vh, thank you for the responses. I will make an empty scene and avoid scene 0.
