Wink threatens to Cancel my Wink account

I just received an e-mail from Wink informing me that this app is not supported by Wink and if I continued to use it my Wink account would be closed. What's up with that and has anyone else received this type of notification from Wink?

My systems probably do more access to the Wink Servers than any individual user install would do and has been doing it for far longer....

I have not heard a peep from Wink.

I have not heard a peep from Wink.
This is what last e-mail from Wink said.

"thanks for getting back to me.
Unfortunately that app is not supported by Wink and continuing to use it will result in disabling your account. Let me know if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you.

What's the full email trail though, that email in isolation doesn't make sense
