Taking over a VeraLitet from previous home owners
« on: May 29, 2016, 01:46:36 pm »
I just purchased a home and the previous owners had a VeraLite installed to control the key pad lock on the front door and owners closet at the property.  How do I reset this, connect it to my network, and reset the codes?

I tried creating a new account and going through the set up process on the website but it cant find the controller on my network (makes sense because we have a new network) and when I try to enter the info on the back of the controller it tells me it is incorrect.

101Pakview, you need to contact our Customer Care Team, support@getvera.com, and they can reset the controller for you. Let them know if you want to keep the configuration that is in it. Include a picture of the serial number of the controller.

You can access the user interface (UI) by going directly to the controller's IP address which you can get from the routing table in you internet router.
