Loosing Connection with Vera

I have Imperihome running on a wall mounted iPad and for the most part I'm pretty happy.  But the all important wife acceptance factor is loosing ground because every once in while it seems to loose connection with my local Vera.  Suddenly all things in Vera stop updating state and you can't control anything. The fix is to go to "systems" and then "Vera" and re-run the setup wizard.  It then finds the Vera again and all starts working again. BTW the IP for my Vera is static so it's not changing.  Any thoughts...?

Not sure if it helps but did you try to force local mode? I have the feeling that it improved my connection at home
VERA Plus, VERA 3 Lite , couple of PIR's, several switch units, wall mounted tablet, Sonos integration with TTS, Temperature sensors, Imperihome, Zwave LED bulbs
