I recently installed this Envisalink EVL with UI7 and decided to document the process and make some detailed instructions for people doing this in the future.
I used a DSC power series but the same process should work for the Honeywell vista series. As I have not tried this I can not guarantee it.
These instructions include physically installing the EVL, Setting up an account at eyez-on.com for the EVL, setting up the EVL itself, installing the DSC alarm app and setting up things on the Vera side.

If it works for you, feel free to forward it to others who are doing this or plan on doing this.
If not, please leave suggestions as to how I can make it more accurate and helpful.

I selected the Envisalink. I was using a EVL3.

Has anyone got this to work for a Honeywell Alarm. I t installed fine.  But does not seem to arm or react to zone changes.

I have the exact same issue.  I have an Envisalink 3 in a Honeywell Vista 20p and can not get vera and the envisalink to talk to each other. I have done all of the obvious stuff.  Has anyone encountered this issue who has resolved it?  I have found lots of questions but no solutions on this forum. I am using the DSC App with the Envisalink. Vera support has been working on it for a week and can't seem to get it operating either. Anyone?

First step to diagnosing is to see if Eyezon.com is getting the info from your EVL by checking your Eyezon.com account for status changes when you make them to your alarm system.

If no then, find out why by going through steps.

If yes then, make sure the EVL is communicating with your Vera by going through these steps.

If your vera is still not seeing status updates, there may be a hardware failure so you will have to start switching hardware out.
