FGK-101 configuration issue
« on: March 24, 2017, 08:09:04 pm »
Hi :)

I do have multiple fgk-101 attached all around the house to exterior doors.
Basically I use them to trigger a notification (doorbell) to notify us when a exterior door gets opened.
It works well for the first batch a 3 sensors that I bought.. but for the last one, it seams to be a different revision of the fgk-101...
Even if it does work to trigger the notification, I get a tamper alarm in the dashboard like this one everytime the door get openned...
can anyone help me with that ?

The device #82 "DoorStairs" in "Doors" was tampered with at 2017-03-24 08:32:16. Reported by House serial #xxxxxx. Alert #xxxxxxxxxx

Thanks for your help !

I'm having the exact same problem here with the 2 sensor I just bought...
Did you figure out a solution?

I believe that I am having the same problem.  Here is a more detailed description of my issue:

I have got 2 fgk-101 purchased recently.  Both have paired with my Vera Plus controller successfully and are displayed in UI7 as expected. However, each time I Open the door I get the following alerts:
"Front Entrance Door was tampered in Hall"
"Front Entrance Door A door/window was opened in Hall"
and when I close the door
"A door/window was closed Front Entrance Door in Hall"
"Front Entrance Door no longer reports tampering in Hall"

The Tamper alerts continue to occur even when the device is unarmed.  This makes it very difficult as we are getting alerts constantly when door is opened or closed.

Behaviour is the same for both devices which are securely mounted on separate doors.  I have checked that the tamper alerts are not due to either of the tamper switches. Also, the tamper LED doesn't come on when these unexpected tamper alerts are generated. I have also checked the LED which is working fine when the tamper switch is tripped.

Please look into this and advise if I should raise a trouble ticket on this.
