Vera Lite -> Edge
« on: May 21, 2017, 05:10:16 pm »
Hi
Upgraded Lite to Edge a couple weeks ago hoping for a more reliable network. Migration didn't go well though, getting a lot of retransmission errors now and some of the scenes got very slow or broken. So looks like going over the whole network rebuild procedure is my only option?

Another question is UI7-related: am I the only one experiencing buttons clutter in the devices tab? Tried different browsers, it's always the same, see attached screenshot.

Due to the Z-Wave chip differences, for a reliable network, it is recommended to re-include all your Z-Wave device on the Vera Edge controller, instead of transferring the setup from the old Vera Lite controller (you can read more about it on our support page - http://support.getvera.com/customer/en/portal/articles/1840697-to-veraedge-from-veralite-or-vera-3-ui7-)

In order to fix the buttons problem, go to Apps - Develop apps - Test Luup code (Lua) , enter the following code and then hit 'Go' :

os.execute('rm -rf /etc/cmh-ludl/D_BinaryLight1.json')
os.execute('rm -rf /etc/cmh-ludl/D_DimmableLight1.json')
os.execute('Reload.sh')
