It's only available in the US and UK at this time.
This thread is about prep work when it becomes available in the French market place.

Similar prep work will be needed for other languages.
I will provide licenses for all those that help.

Just to mention that now I do have a Google Home at home.
While waiting for French support for Vera Concierge, I am performing some tests with habridge and results are impressive.
I am convinced that with Vera Concierge, it will be perfect !

Sorry, I have been busy with some non automation related activities.
They are still only rolling out Google Assistant to English speaking countries, recently UK and Canada. So I have not had a strong motivation to get going on this.

Google Home is available in France since August (with French language of course), and Google Assistant as well.
As I said I already have a Google Home at home and talking to it in French.
There is some community of French users of Vera and Google Home for which Vera Concierge would be very interesting...
These users (myself included) are using HaBridge or IFTTT as a workaround.

Just to inform that Google has just released today the first 3rd party applications in French.
"Actions on Google" is now open for France and I hope to see a French version of Vera Concierge soon!

Do you have a calendar with the next language updates? Where can I get this information?

I have finished the other changes to Version 2 of Vera Concierge ... next is the multi-language support.

NOTE: I have submitted a change to Google for using their HOME CONTROL interface.
In that case it is GOOGLE that defines the voice interface ...
I assume that Google already has support for multiple languages.
But it will only support a subset (although a significant subset) of devices.

When it's available you will be able to just Add devices in the Google Home App ... and Select the "Vera Concierge Smart Home" to be the interface for these devices.

At this time the "Vera Concierge" assistant only supports english, and is probably only distributed by Google in English speaking countries.

WHEN the "Vera Concierge Smart Home" feature is accepted by Google, you should be able to see it in the "Google Home" app ...
a) From the menu select "Home Control"
b) Select add devices +
c) Find and use the "Vera Concierge Smart Home" feature to add devices.

NOTE: Before you can use the "Home Control" feature:
          a) You will need your Local Concierge Server running. Configure your Vera Account Info.
          b) Passed the Connectivity tests on the "Local Concierge Server for your Vera.
          c) Updated the Cloud Information
          d) Pass the Cloud Connectivity tests.

@Richard - Although this post is meant to deal with foreign language support, the pending acceptance by Google of your "Vera Concierge Smart Home" is fantastic headline news, and exactly what I had been hoping for.

When this occurs, and we link to it directly as a new home automation device, my understanding is that all of the Vera-attached devices that are enabled via the Concierge app will now appear as devices that can be controlled directly via Google Home.  No longer will we need to include "Ask Vera Concierge to ..." in the instructions.   The command phrasing (not to mention the language) should be flexible too.   Right?

FYI - I had been trying to use Google shortcuts to avoid the "ask vera concierge" invocation, but found that the shortcuts were far too limiting.   If you don't say exactly the phrase in the shortcut, either Google Home doesn't understand, or concierge answers with an abrupt "NO".    Simply starting the command with "Please" or adding a "the" when it wasn't defined in the shortcut is enough to defeat the shortcut.

Your understanding is correct ...
This should also provide multi-lingual support for the features that Google Home devices support.

I have had to change ICONS to pass the Google acceptance procedure ... There reviews take a little time ...
Things I do not like with Goggle Home devices:
1) You need to Unlink/Relink the Vera Concierge Smart Home app when you change anything.
Actually my reset on the Vera Concierge Account page will do this as well.
2) It makes you set the room for each device every time you resync.
I provide all of the Rooms (and structures, i use 1 separate structure for each Vera)
I guess they ignore this info for now.
It still has less capability than the Vera Concierge Assistant. And I am adding more.

Like Vera Concierge, you can specify aliases for each device.
I have not distinguished between Lights and Switches ... All On/Off devices are switches, All dimmer devices are lights.
