Vera PLus slow to reboot

Hi,

In order to utilize the Zwave Plus functions I recently bought a Vera Plus. My problem is that every time I restart the device by disconnecting it and
reconnecting it again it takes 6? hours before I can communicate with it again.

In this blackout the INTERNET and SERVICE LEDs blink slowly while the others are lit continuously.

I opened a service ticket at Vera, but the answer is slow to come.

Do others have the same problem? Any ideas on what I could do? What do you think of a device that takes 6? hours to restart? My old Vera 3 reboots in 2 minutes.

Can you connect to it locally, is it just the remote access that doesn't work?

Check portal status if remote: https://status.getvera.com/

If you can get to it locally, check the Net & Wifi page under Settings, maybe something there will show a problem.

I had an issue with DNS (due to messing up my router's config), which gave similar results, although the time to connect was more random than consistently long.

Hi,
All the Vera services are up and running, but I can not access locally. If I ?ping? the IP address I get no answer. All that time wifi connection is possible but the UI is not working, the green wheel always turning. The ethernet layer is OK it seems that it is the Internet layer that do not respond.

Hi,
I have bought the VeraPlus today and I'm experiencing the same problem. It's like the system is rebooting continuously.
I have the latest firmware.

Should I return the device?
Please help.

I have returned the product!

I give it another chance. Requested to replace the product.

Is it me, or the quality of the product is lacking?

If you call tech support, they will fix that for you. I had the same problem and Vera tech fixed it for me.

I have returned the product!

I give it another chance. Requested to replace the product.
