ZCombo armed/disarmed status
« on: October 02, 2017, 09:45:06 pm »
I just connected a couple First Alert smoke/co alarms (ZCombo). In the devices view the smoke and co sensors are armed. I you go to the device control page, the smoke detectors show up as armed but the CO sensors show up as disarmed. Anyone know why the difference and is it anything I need to be concerned about?

Regardless of the status showing in Vera, the sensors are always on and will start howling like a banshee if to detect smoke or CO. I had a false positive a few months ago at 1AM. I know now that if I have a real fire, these will wake me from the deepest sleep. :-) Especially as I have Vera switch on all lights and use Sonos to tell me what room the smoke (or CO) is...

Try unjoining and rejoining them to Vera and leaving them next to Vera overnight so they can complete the post join configurations
