How do you use a 2GIG Wireless KeyPad 2GIG‐PAD1‐345
« on: December 15, 2017, 08:49:29 pm »
I have it added to the Vera Secure and I have added a PIN.  How do I arm and disarm the alarm?

Mine has been paired 6 hours now - it did spontaneously trigger a panic alarm to Vera monitoring when no one was in the room as the panel

looks like ot was not the 2gig keypad causing the false panic alarms - I removed the batteries and still got calls from Vera monitoring . looks like it is a bug in the controller

Had the same problem.  I upgraded to the latest beta 24b.  It has stopped.  However I have not pushed the police button

This is way I got form support:

The 2GIG-PAD1-345 is only compatible with our VeraSecure controllers and allows you to change the House Mode in order to arm and disarm the security system.

Basically, to set the house mode to AWAY or arm the system, press the away button on the keypad, followed by your pin code and the star * key (this is the intro button).

Similarly to set the HOME mode back again but using the STAY button.

The Fire or Police buttons should be pressed for more than 3 seconds (until the led is lighting) for the alert to be sent. These buttons will only send an alert if you are subscribed to our VeraProtect service.

Dose not seem to be a way to arm in stay(night) mode.

Has anyone tried to use PLEG to intercept output from this device for customized control? I have a fully functional alarm system built using PLEG and would love to be able to control my system using a keypad as an additional input. The response from tech support is typically vague, but I am hoping that the data from the device might be able to be captured and used for advanced purposes.

I know it's been a year, but I was hoping someone had gotten this to work with PLEG.  When I try to use a user PIN entered as a trigger, it does not trigger anything.  Has anyone had any luck with this?
