Clarification of Detecting Smoke in Scene
« on: February 18, 2018, 12:58:42 pm »
Hi all,

Today, Nest had a warning there was smoke due to some cooking. I noticed my "all lights on" scene didn't run. My trigger is whether armed or disarmed when smoke is detected.

My question is, does the Nest siren have to be fully triggered for this scene to run?

In the Nest messages it said, smoke was briefly detected. So can MCV or someone comment on this so I understand when the scene would actually trigger?

I have had the scene trigger a long time ago when the alarm went off but I think the "heads up" warning from Nest does not trigger the scene in Vera.
