How come Vera can be rebooted from the PC UI but not from the android app?

Because Vera did not add it. I just go to Vera in Chrome on my phone and uninstall the app completely. But some use GeoFence so depends on your needs but you can always access via Chrome on your phone.

There's some small talk about UI8, maybe that will bring a new app too.

Thanks for the info. Rebooting Vera almost daily is a must for me (and many others).
It just stops working so damn often.
Only way to get it to work is to reload the engine or reboot.
I can log in to it normally and see all my devices but cannot control any of my devices,
just says "waiting for node to reply after x retries".
That goes for all devices and same if I try remotely or lan connection.

You can reboot Vera manually from a scene. Search the forum---there are many examples of scheduled reboots.

Adding to HSD99's idea.

Use that reboot code, to add it to a manual run scene... which can be trigger from the mobile app as well.

Ok, thanks, that sounds good.
It's just that I'm new to Vera and have no idea how to do this.
Is there a step by step guide somewhere?

It would be nice if i could do a scheduled reboot and at the same time clear any cache etc. that can cause trouble.
It would also be nice to reboot it manually too from the app.

Then I have one more minor problem..
A time ago I went and added all kinds of upnp devices Vera could find. (mistake)
I deleted them later but they still appear in my android app.
How can I get rid of them?

Ok, I figured out my self how to do it. Writing a small guide (as a new post) for those who are new to this.

My other questions still unsolved.
